My journey into design began during my school years. While attending classes, I created movie websites using HTML, which became popular in my town. After receiving a more powerful computer from my parents, I started experimenting with game development in Unreal Engine around 2009. Finding it challenging to tackle alone, I shifted my focus to videography, which became a hobby alongside my studies. I took on roles as director, cameraman, and editor, shooting rap music videos with friends. This experience taught me the importance of cohesive visuals and sound, as well as storyboarding, camera work, composition, and color.
In 2010, I discovered an animated commercial made in After Effects on YouTube. Intrigued, I watched Andrew Kramer's tutorials and balanced graphic design studies with video shooting. By 2011, I was selling After Effects templates on Videohive. After finishing school in 2015, I moved to Kyiv and worked at a major TV channel, honing my skills in 3D graphics. Later, I joined the advertising agency BBDO, where I learned about advertising and creativity. I continued shooting videos, renting cameras like RED, Sony, and Blackmagic, and working on aftermovies for the country's largest music festival, commercial shoots, model scouting, and post-production.
After several years in office jobs, I transitioned to freelancing. I collaborated with design studios, clients, and advertising agencies, creating identity designs for TV channels, ad campaigns, advertising case studies for international festivals, ad concepts, and project management. I also designed the graphic package for Ukraine's Independence Day concert for two consecutive years.
Currently living in Los Angeles, California. After gaining experience at local ad agency, I continue to pursue my craft, finding joy in every project.
